Despite the young age of the laboratory (the University Roma Tre was born in 1992 and the new buildings of the Department of Geological Sciences became functional in 1997), the scientific instruments, the librarian patrimony and the collections (fossil and osteological) are implemented and attained a high standard for both research and teaching.
