Research into Early Years Language Learning network (REYLL)

REYLL has the following objectives:

  • To bridge the areas of language learning and early years education;
  • To promote and disseminate research in early years language learning and its implementation in policy and practice;
  • To create opportunities for informed and constructive discussion and debate;
  • To foster possibilities for cross-national collaboration and interaction.

There is a REYLL discussion list on JISCmail EARLY-YEARS-LANGUAGE-LEARNING@JISCMAIL.AC.UK which is used to disseminate projects, conferences, publications and research discoveries. You are warmly invited to join the list.

REYLL is supported by the newly created EECERA Special Interest Group Multilingual Childhoods. More information about EECERA can be found here.

The REYLL network has been set up by Sandie MourĂ£o (Universidade Nova, Portugal), Victoria Murphy (University of Oxford, UK) and Elena Tkachenko (Oslo and Arkershus University College of Applied Linguistics, Norway)
