Students Support



The European Federation for Primatology will award a maximum of ten student bursaries of up to €225, to cover travel costs for pre-doctoral students.

A selection will be made by the EFP2015 Scientific Committee. The applicant must be first author of a presentation (oral or poster) at the conference.

Candidates must submit an application at the same time they submit the abstract (deadline March 13, 2015).

The application must be a Word document including the following information:

  • Name of the applicant
  • Affiliation and email address of the applicant
  • Preferred type (oral or poster) of the presentation
  • Title of the presentation
  • Abstract of the presentation (see below)
  • Motivation for applying (approximately 300 words)
  • Budget estimate for travel costs and travel details (origin, means of transport)
  • Letter (or email) of support from supervisor/tutor confirming pre-doctoral status and a statement about other financial support requested (or awarded) to attend the EFP2015
  • A one-page CV
  • Bank account number(provide IBAN and BIC codes) of the applicant

Decisions will be notified to applicants by May 1, 2015. Note that early bird registration continues until May 15, 2015.
