About me: I am associate professor of Banking and Finance at the University of Rome III. I graduated with a Ph.D. from the Bangor Business School (U.K.) in 2005. My research revolves around different aspects of bank management and risk taking. I have been teaching courses in financial intermediation, bank management and risk management to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students. I am president of the Financial Intermediation Network of European Studies (FINEST). I am associate editor of Journal of Banking and Finance. I am senior visiting research at the Bangor Business School (U.K.) and Essex Finance Center (U.K.). From January to July 2011, I was at the Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis (US) as Fulbright Senior Visiting Research Scholar.
