E' ospite presso il Dipartimento di Scienze dell'Ingegnereia Civile dal 1 al 28 giugno 2007 il prof. Jerry Wekezer Distinguished University Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Florida A&M - Florida State University College of Engineering, Tallahassee, Florida.
 
Il prof. Wekezer esperto in Computational Mechanics è a Roma nell'ambito di un programma di scambio culturale coordinato in Italia dal prof. Andrea Benedetto e finanziato dalla Fulbright Commission (USA) e dal Dipartimento di Scienze dell'Ingegneria Civile dell'Ateneo di Roam Tre (Italia)
