Breve Curriculum Vitae

Enrico Grazzi si è laureato in Lingue e Letterature Straniere (Inglese) nel 1986, presso la facoltà di Magistero dell’Università degli Studi “La Sapienza”, di Roma. Allievo della Prof. Wanda d’Addio Colosimo, si è occupato di metodologia dell’insegnamento della lingua Inglese e di linguistica applicata. Dopo aver insegnato Inglese per diversi anni come professore di ruolo nella Scuola Media Superiore Statale, ha intrapreso l’attività accademica presso l’Università degli Studi di Cassino, dapprima come docente a contratto di Glottodidattica (1998-2002) e poi come ricercatore di Linguistica Inglese (2002-2007). Nel 2007 si è trasferito presso l’Università degli Studi “Roma Tre”, afferendo al Dipartimento di Linguistica. Attualmente insegna Lingua Inglese nel Corso di laurea di Comunicazione nella società della globalizzazione.
Le aree di ricerca di particolare interesse sono: la linguistica dei corpora; la traduzione del testo non letterario; la diffusione dell’Inglese come lingua franca.
E’ membro dell’Executive Committee dell’associazione professionale TESOL-Italy (Teachers of English To Students of Other Languages), di cui è stato presidente nel biennio 2002/2004. Dal 2003 è membro dell’Associazione Italiana di Anglistica (AIA).
Svolge attività di teacher-training ed è autore di libri di testo per la Scuola media di I e II grado con le case editrici Mursia e Oxford University Press.
