Travel informations

You can buy tickets at any subway station from green ticket issuing machines, bar tabacchi and newspapers kiosk but you cannot buy them on the bus.
Remember to punch your tickets in the little yellow punching machines at the entry barriers in stations and inside the buses.

    Valid for 75 minutes from the first punch and for several fares but only one in metro A and B
  • BIG - Biglietto integrato giornaliero

    Valid for 24 hours from the first punch and for all fares you want in bus and metro

    Valid for 3 days from the first punch and for all fares you want in bus and metro

Roma Tre from Termini station
  • Metro B direction Laurentina. The stop is San Paolo Basilica. The right exit is on the left side (ask for the Basilica), at the traffic light you must go straigth on in the direction of the Basilica. After maybe 600 metres you find the Rettorato on your right.
  • Bus (23) from Piazza dei Cinquecento outside Termini station. Ask for “via Ostiense 159”.
  • You can take a taxi as well but it could be very expensive.
Roma Tre from Fiumicino airport
  • You can take, every 30 minutes, Leonardo Express Train, inside the Airport, until Termini station. The price for a ticket is 9,50 euro.
  • You can take, every 15 minutes, the train for Piramide station. Ask for “un biglietto per 30 km per la stazione Piramide”: the price is 1,70 euro. Now ask for Metro B direction Laurentina, the forth stop is San Paolo Basilica. The right exit is on the left side (ask for the Basilica), at the traffic light you must go straigth on. After maybe 600 metres you find the Rettorato on your right.
  • You can take Co.tral bus outside the Airport. Ask for “Cotral per Lido di Ostia”. The last stop is "Lido di Ostia station", then you can take the train direction Laurentina. The stop is San Paolo Basilica. The right exit is on the left side (ask for the Basilica), at the traffic light you must go straigth on. After maybe 600 metres you find the Rettorato on your right. The price of Co.tral ticket is 1,00 euro, as the one of Metro ticket, and you can buy it in tobaccos or in the green machine.
